Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about turning your memories into a custom t-shirt quilt.
How many t-shirts do I need for a quilt?
The number of shirts depends on the size of the quilt you choose. A Lap size requires 16 shirt sides, a Twin requires 24, a Full requires 30, a Queen requires 49, and a King requires 64.
What parts of the t-shirt can you use?
We can use any part of the shirt that has a graphic, including the front, back, or sleeves. Each panel is cut into a 12x12 or 14x14 inch square depending on your order specifications.
How long does the production process take?
Once we receive your shirts at our production facility, it typically takes 3-5 weeks to cut, sew, and ship your custom quilt back to you.
What material is used for the back of the quilt?
We use high-quality, ultra-soft PolarTec fleece for the backing of our quilts, providing a cozy and durable finish that lasts for years.
How do I ship my shirts to you?
After you place your order, we will email you instructions and a shipping label (if purchased). Simply pack your shirts in a box or mailer and drop them off at the designated carrier.
Can I wash my Project Repat quilt?
Yes! Our quilts are machine washable. We recommend washing on a cold, gentle cycle and tumble drying on low heat to preserve the life of the t-shirt graphics.
